1. About these terms
These terms are between you and [Legal owner or registered company name required], trading as Signage Hub, of [Geographical business address required]. They apply to the Signage Hub software, documentation, updates and related support.
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and authorised reseller for the transaction. Its buyer terms also apply to checkout, payment, tax, invoicing and refund processing. Signage Hub remains the supplier and licensor of the software.
2. Product and price
The product is an annual Signage Hub licence costing £100 GBP per year. Applicable taxes and the final total are calculated and shown by Lemon Squeezy before you pay. The subscription renews annually using your selected payment method unless cancelled before the renewal date.
3. Ordering and delivery
Your order is accepted when checkout is completed and Lemon Squeezy sends confirmation. Your licence key is delivered electronically by email and is also available through the customer portal. You are responsible for supplying an accurate email address and protecting the licence key.
4. Licence grant
While your subscription is active, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to install and use Signage Hub for your own internal business or organisational purposes.
- The licence may be activated on one server installation.
- That installation may serve an unlimited number of viewer displays.
- You may create unlimited playlists and media placements.
- You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or provide the software as a managed service without written permission.
- You may not circumvent licensing, remove ownership notices, reverse engineer the software except where law expressly permits it, or share a licence key outside your organisation.
5. Your installation and content
Signage Hub is self-hosted. You are responsible for suitable infrastructure, Docker or Portainer configuration, network access, backups, updates, administrator credentials and the security of your environment.
You retain ownership of content you upload. You must have the rights needed to display it and must not use Signage Hub for unlawful, infringing, harmful or deceptive content. Some external websites prevent iframe embedding; this is controlled by the external website and is not a software fault.
6. Updates and support
An active subscription includes generally released updates for your licensed version. We may change, improve or retire features where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility or product development. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through the published support contact.
7. Renewal, cancellation and expiry
You can manage or cancel renewal through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid annual period, and no further renewal will be charged. When the licence expires, validation may fail and continued use may be limited until the subscription is renewed.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Our refund policy forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to digital content that is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
9. Intellectual property
Signage Hub, its source code, design, branding and documentation are owned by or licensed to us. Except for the licence expressly granted above, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.
10. Availability and warranties
We aim to provide software that materially matches its description. Self-hosted performance depends on your infrastructure, browser, network, third-party websites and configuration. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every external website, file or device.
For business customers, all implied terms are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. This paragraph does not affect mandatory consumer guarantees.
11. Liability
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
For business customers, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising from the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for Signage Hub during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Consumer liability is limited only where the law permits.
12. Ending the licence for breach
We may suspend or terminate a licence if payment is reversed, the licence is shared or abused, or you materially breach these terms and do not remedy a remediable breach after notice. Termination does not remove rights or obligations that already arose.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Business customers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Consumers may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
14. Contact and changes
